Criminal Justice and Licensing (Scotland) Act 2010
The Act introduced the Community Payback Order (CPO), replacing 3 older community sentences.
It also made wider changes to criminal justice, including rules on sentencing, supervision, court procedures, appeals, and evidence.
In addition, it updated the law in areas such as local authority licensing and several types of criminal activity, including serious organised crime, human trafficking, fraud, weapons offences, and sexual offences.
