Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010

The Act aimed to simplify the structure of public bodies to improve how services are delivered.

It created several umbrella organisations and merged or closed others to make the system more streamlined.

It also strengthened oversight of public bodies and improved the procedures people can use to raise complaints.
