Management of Offenders etc. (Scotland) Act 2005

The Act changed how offender management is planned, supervised, and coordinated in Scotland.

It created new systems to bring services together, including Community Justice Authorities and Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA). It also required stronger and more consistent risk management practices.
