Stakeholder engagement

Stakeholder engagement is central to the NSWA’s ethos. The NSWA will maintain ongoing, meaningful engagement with social workers, students, people with lived experience, local authorities, education providers, and the wider public.

Engagement methods include surveys, focus groups, advisory panels, partnership boards, and public and sector communications with feedback loops. This approach ensures that the NSWA’s work remains relevant, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of Scotland’s communities.

A stakeholder engagement plan will continue to be maintained, setting out methods, frequency, and responsibilities for ongoing engagement with key groups.
