All contracts and procurement activities will comply with the Scottish Public Finance Manual and relevant procurement regulations. Any procurement undertaken will embed social value and community benefits, include fair work practices, provide for continuous improvement and innovation, and establish clear performance management and contract monitoring arrangements.

Contract management will be overseen by the NSWA team, with clear KPIs, SLAs and escalation procedures to ensure delivery and manage risks.
