Workforce strategy and policy

We oversee national workforce planning for social work. We’ll work with partners to develop a national approach to workforce planning. This will ensure Scotland has the social work workforce it needs for the future. We’ll:

• drive visibility and availability of data, information and analysis 
• develop a national workforce plan 
• ensure clear and progressive career pathways for all roles 
• ensure national policies affecting social work are considered in workforce planning, recruitment and training
