The Anti-racism in Social Work Action Plan sets out practical steps, actions and goals to embed anti-racism across Scotland’s social work sector.  

We’re working to eliminate racism, support individuals and build a fairer, more inclusive profession. 

Support  

Free and independent online coaching is available for social workers and social work students.  

You can access this support through the Social Work Professional Support Service.

Experienced and trained social work coaches offer: 

• a confidential peer-to-peer listening space 
• a safe and empathetic space to think through professional or personal challenges 
• support for self-care, wellbeing and coping mechanisms
